Veneer tape

Any plywood project deserves a neat finish; consider iron-on veneer tape over the regular dry-backed variety. Adhesive on the back of the strip melts with heat to fuse with the plywood base, and running a wooden block over the veneer afterwards ensures a permanent bond. —Veneer-tape Tactics
